Sell us your old machine as part of replacing it, or trade it against a no-contract lease or an outright purchase. Tell us what you have and we will tell you what it is worth straight away.
There is no qualifying list and nothing to check first. Canon, Xerox, Ricoh, HP, Konica Minolta, Kyocera, Sharp, Lexmark, Toshiba, whatever is sitting there. Working, half working, or long dead.
Make, model and a rough meter reading. That is genuinely enough, and the label on the front of the machine has most of it.
Not "we will get back to you". You get a figure on the spot, either as a trade-in value or as what it costs to take it away, and often those are the same conversation.
New machine in, old one out, across Chicagoland. No gap in service, and no fortnight spent running two copiers in the same room.
The value is the value either way. Where it lands depends on how you are taking the new machine.
We will collect the old machine and take it away, including ones with no trade value left in them. Quoted with everything else, and usually simpler than arranging a lift and a recycler yourself.
A copier stores images of what it has scanned and printed. We will wipe the drive and issue a certificate of destruction. If you handle medical, legal or financial records, get that in writing on any machine leaving your building, whether it goes to us or to anybody else.
Most copiers get replaced because a 60-month lease is running out, not because the machine died. The best time to find out your options is a few months before that happens, not after you have signed the next one.
